Good

A Few things are missing : The X-Y mode of the scope The possibility to do a frequency analysis (bode diagrams) And a spectra mode ? Thank you

iPhone 6 and 6 Plus

64 bits, iPhone 6 and 6 Plus support, now the app its perfect and fully of functionality !!! Thank you a lot !!!

Good app!

Sometimes it crashes and go to background mode, but it still works!

A very nice application

iCircuit is a wonderful app to build up electronic circuits. It has most of the common components to set up simple circuits and lots of tools to enquire currents and voltages along points in your circuit. Of course it is not a professional tool, but it is excellent for students and hobbysts alike, and it is worth the $10 that the author is asking. Minor annoyances are the difficulties to manipulate components using fingers,I would love to have a mouse instead. Other weak point is the manual that could be better. I still could not figure out how to use the osciloscope and the manual did not help it.

Fix the bug!!!!!!!!

When are you going to fix this bug?????

Very well! But...

How could they use sliders to choose precision values?? This take all the time to draw a new circuit, try to catch the exact value that you want in the slider...

Hope to see an update

Takes a while to get used to interface ( selecting, dragging, deleting etc). Tried to do some simple stuff like creating an RS FLIP FLOP with NANDs, and it wasnt possible

A very well and good designed app

This is a very good and easy to use application. It makes lots of fun to work with it. As I always say: Nothing is perfect but can be improved. My suggestions for improving some parts: # When a object is marked the "Meter" windows shows up and it happens that it is disturbing whilst placing, replacing or changing objects. Here a solution which dis- /enables the "Meter" would help. A botton for the "Meter" on top would be fine. # When the user switched the ICE symbol on then the symbols should be ICE in the bottom objects list aswell. # The "text lable" should be advanced to give a new line when pressing return. # A "note pad" should be integrated so that you are able to write comments or making notes. # The manual should be integrated into the app to use it when offline. And here it is essential that all symbols and the parts of symbols are discribed. E.g. on resistors are a square connector and a round one which is the essential one? # A "libruary" with the most popular resistance, capacitors, diodes etc. could help with drawing up. E.g. 1N4148 Diode which value is right? This would give the user more time to work then to check which value is required. # Now iCloud this is a must have when you provide apps for all devices. # Add a zoom in/ out option and the option to show the full plan on the screen as in good CAD apps.

Nice App

This App is good to handle and well designed. But some things are missing: - a library for the most popular diodes, transistors, ... (eg 1N4148, BC547, ...) - adjustable current for power sources - a HF/VHF/UHF signal generator for simulating receivers - the possibility to use the same name at multiple objects (now a counting digit is automatically added) - a button to disable the meter-window - If you edit the parameters of an object which is on the middle to lower side of the screen and the keyboard is opened, you sometimes dont see the optionwindow anymore

Super nice to use!

The user interface is really great! Its so easy and intuitive to build, edit and monitor your circuits. Looking forward to updates with more building parts :)

Thumbs up

Great App!

Great app

Really great app dude! Works really nice. I like the export function. Everything works way better than I expected! I just miss some functions. How about an LM317 regulator? Or maybe the ability to set LED forward current, so you can test different types of LEDs? And it would be really really great to have complex measuring functions. Voltage and phaseshift or real and imaginary part. You know... Voltage times e to the power of phi or a plus b times j.

Very nice

I think that this app is one of the best that there is on the market for electrotechnical drawings and simulations. The only thing that i am missing is that there isnt any freedom in changing specifications like with the op-amp. It would be nice if there was a way to chance the amplification from a range 10 - the idol amp 10 + e7. I dont regret spending money on this app. It was worth every penny! Im really looking forward to more updates!

good quality software

Works as advertised - recommended

Quite good so far

Pretty stable and functional. Does all the basic simulations you will need. Still waiting for more components to work with...

Perfect for beginners

Perfect app for beginners. This app replaces a breadboard with many circuits or simply helps to evaluate certain circuits. I especially like the calculation of current and voltage flow. As you can adjust certain items it is great to alter circuits or redesign them. I couldnt find any issues yet. Of course Id like to have more items implemented or examples, but at the moment this app is one of my most used tools. Thanks! I hope therell be more updates in the future. This app is worth every cent! Update: Still the only reference in the AppStore. Im still using the app frequently and as an hobby circuit designer for work related to microcontrollers this app has saved many mistakes and even damages. The only issue is that it doesnt deal well with N-Mosfets, but this is rather a minor problem. Works on iPhone and iPad flawlessly. My library already consists of dozens of circuits and thanks to iCloud they are all in sync. Keep it up!

Slider problem

It is really hard to select the right d/c voltage with the slider there should be a number pad so it makes everything easier than the slider. If this is fixed I will give 5 star back.

Amazing app

This app has only been getting better. With the new release there are all kinds of new circuits I can test. The resolution on the virtual scope is very nifty, easier to use and read than a real oscilloscope. Keep up the great work, love it! Also I think the new sub circuit and port features are killer.

Well worth every penny

What an outstanding app. By past comments it looks as though this app has come a long way because none of the complaints are valid in the current version. Love the Oscilloscope and Meter tools.

Review avoided

I have been avoiding writing this review along time. It is the only simulator I have found on iOS. Unfortunately this program has may serious flaws. So many 6000 character can only scratch the surface. Here is a small sample of the problems. Interface: landscape panning reduces to default size. Oscilloscope spawns a second instance and neither work. Stability: gets really flaky if use fro over 2 hours and/or over 50 nets. Simulation: All devices are level 1, nor ESR, D, Q etc. Over unity regulators, micro wats in produces giga watts output. MOSFET use beta which can only be estimated from gate geometry instead of capacitance/threshold or area/media. Transients real confuse the simulator causing varying simulation stopping errors. Zeners are limited to 25v and can not be chained in most cases no dark current. Logic is 1V only. Support: To-date zero of my bug reports have received a single response, therefore I have no idea if there is any support to comment on. There many more faults but alas it is the only simulator available for iOS. For the on the move times I can not use LTSpice I am tankful for iCircuit.
